Once you purchase your health scheme, you will
be automatically notified within seconds via phone or email about the details
of your health scheme.

check your insurance balance credit; if using Vodacom, Airtel, Tigo or Halotel:

To Activate Tiva Food Vendor Health Scheme
(PERSONAL): Type *120*1#.

Note: If you have a family or would like
to add another person to your Tiva Food Vendor Health Scheme, the activation
process is still the same. Just make sure you have enough credit to activate
health insurance for two or three people.

For instance, if you have a balance of $55 in
your account, you may be able to activate your health insurance coverage.
However, if you wish to include an additional person in your scheme, you'll
need to have a higher balance, depending on the number of people to be covered.

To add an additional person to your Tiva Food
Vendor Health Scheme, you can use the following codes: for adding one person
($49.5), type *120*1#; for two
people ($99), type *120*2#; for
three people ($148.5), type *120*3#;
and so on. The last digit in each code
represents the total number of people who will be included in the package.

If you have added money to activate Tiva Food Vendor Health
Scheme package and need to add another person, send the credit to a friend, or
add multiple people to your package, you can use your Tiva insurance credit to
activate any package or plan on the Tiva platform.

Requirements for Your Insurance ID
Card and Dependents' Identification.
After activating your health insurance as the policyholder, you and your
dependents have multiple options for registration. The quickest and most
convenient way is to register through your Tiva Health account on https://Tiva.co.tz or using the Tiva
Health Tanzania App. The process involves scanning your ID, taking a photo,
and submitting your fingerprints (if using the App). Alternatively, you can
visit any hospital or pharmacy within our network or any Tiva shop in your
neighborhood where the "Tiva is
Available Here" banner is displayed to obtain your insurance ID card.
Each beneficiary (if multiple) can also collect their Tiva Health ID card from
any Tiva shop, pharmacy, or hospital at their convenience.
Note:
In order
for you and each of your dependents to get registered, the following are
needed:
•
National Identification Authority Card (NIDA CARD) or a
passport or any other government-issued identification.
•
Insurance account number and secret dependent code (for
both principal and dependents), which were provided to you upon activation of
your health insurance package.
No mobile Money
Registration is required:
Your dependents do not need a registered Mobile Money number to receive the
insurance or activate – just any mobile registered number is enough.
· The number your beneficiary
receives insurance at is the primary number.
·
Before activating the insurance package, the
principal policyholder has the option to transfer the insurance credit to
another mobile number or family member. However, once the package is activated
under a specific number, it cannot be transferred or changed to another
package. If you have an urgent need to make changes, please contact our
customer support team at 0757710714 for assistance.
· For you to transfer health
insurance to another number; type *126*phone number*Credit value# - Send.

counting the moment you activate your package.
